Why do I need two passwords?

Each client who has an IQDAX trading account has two passwords: a master password (also referred to as a trading password) and an investor password. Each password grants you distinct privileges in your trading account: The master (trading) password enables unrestricted access to trading and manageing your account. This means you can place new orders as well as modify or cancel existing ones.

When using the investor password to log in, you are not permitted to trade. You can only view open trades and the history of your account. This password is used to demonstrate your trading strategy to other traders or investors in order for them to evaluate it.

When sharing an investor password with third parties, you do not need to worry about the security of your funds because the viewers will be unable to manipulate your funds or orders.
